About

A unique journey combining creativity and social sciences

When I was younger, I was often advised to choose a “serious” career, warned that an artistic path would be risky. Although I always had a passion for illustration, I initially opted for a career in social sciences. I obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychosociology of communication at UQÀM, hoping to work in the integration of newcomers. However, life had other plans. Unable to find a job in my field of study, I found myself in positions related to illustration. This experience made me realize that my true calling was in the creative field. I therefore decided to go back to school to pursue training in computer graphics, which led me to become a graphic designer.

A unique synergy between communication and design

Contrary to what one might think, I never turned my back on my initial training. On the contrary, my studies in social sciences and communication deeply influenced my approach to graphic design. This unique combination of skills proved particularly valuable when I started working in the field of knowledge and e-Learning. That’s where I was really able to combine my knowledge of social sciences and communication with my graphic design skills, creating a perfect synergy.

Diverse expertise and a passion for learning

With several years of experience in graphic design, I have developed varied expertise, ranging from packaging and logo design to the creation of training materials. My career has allowed me to work on exciting projects, notably for renowned brands such as Disney, Marvel, and Nickelodeon. As a multimedia and courseware developer, I had the opportunity to create innovative courses and training tools for aviation. This experience strengthened my ability to translate complex concepts into engaging visual and interactive media.

A commitment to excellence and collaboration

My colleagues and supervisors have often highlighted my creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving ability. I am recognized for my work ethic, ability to work in a team, and constant desire to learn and improve.

Always looking to the future

Today, I continue to explore new ways to combine my skills in design, communication, and social sciences. I am particularly interested in new technologies such as AI, VR, and AR, and I am always looking for new challenges that will allow me to grow professionally and personally. My unique journey has taught me that sometimes the less conventional paths can lead to the most enriching opportunities. I am grateful for every experience that has led me to where I am today, and I am excited about what the future holds in the ever-evolving world of design and communication.
